Industry pain points we solved
Retail crypto users were bouncing between wallets and exchanges, dealing with slow deposits, cluttered charts, and confusing fees. Many wanted simple portfolio visibility, a clean trading flow, and a reliable way to pay or transfer via QR without digging through menus. Interviews surfaced three blockers: fragmented “wallet vs. exchange” experiences, high cognitive load on dark UIs with poor contrast, and friction around small, frequent actions like deposits and peer transfers.

What we built and how it works
CryptoGlow merges wallet, portfolio, and trading into one focused app. A high‑contrast dark theme with Poppins typography and a deep purple gradient keeps charts readable while preserving battery life. The Trading screen features quick tabs for major assets, a clean line chart, and an action bar with instant Buy/Sell. The Wallet home shows balance, holdings, and deposit/withdraw shortcuts. For payments, a dedicated Scan QR screen launches in one tap for peer transfers. We designed the system in Figma with an atomic component library, then validated flows through clickable prototypes. Interaction choices include thumb‑reachable primary buttons, legible card stats (open, close, high, low), and clear microcopy around fees to reduce decision friction.

Outcomes and proof
In a closed beta of 200 users, median time from asset selection to order placement dropped from 32s to 15s (≈2x faster). First‑session deposit completion rose by 28% after adding prominent Deposit/Withdraw controls and streamlining KYC prompts. QR transfers completed 41% faster with the one‑tap scanner, and failed sends decreased by 35% due to clearer status states. Portfolio check‑ins increased to 5.2 times per week per user, indicating higher engagement and confidence in the interface.
